Marseille’s pursuit of Ghana winger Frank Acheampong has been given a massive boost as Anderlecht push ahead with the signing of Moubarak Boussoufa.

The Belgian giants are reportedly prepared to listen to offers for the 21-year-old Ghanaian who has struggled to get into the side this season.

Acheampong has had very limited first team opportunities three games into the new season and is said to be interested in a move.

French club Olympique Marseille are the only known candidates at this points.

Anderlecht will be looking to sell Acheampong for a free around €4m according to reports in Belgium.

The imminent arrival of Moubarak Boussoufa from Lokomotiv Moscow makes the Anderlecht squad even more congested for the ex Ghana U20 star.

Acheampong signed for Anderlcht in 2013 from Thai club Buriram United for a $1m transfer fee.
