23 year old Nigerian forward Austin Amutu who was at a time a target for English Premier League giants Arsenal will in the coming days seal a deal with Turkish side Yeni Malayatspor. Amutu who was reportedly recommended to French ligue 1 side Angers before his move to Israeli side Ironi Kiryat Shmona last summer was rumoured to be set for a move to the Ligue 1 side but Turkey appears to be his most likely destination.

Last season Amutu scored five goals for Ironi Kiryat Shmona including three in the last four games of the season which appears to have caught the attention of the Turkish side.

Owngoalnigeria.com gathered that he is few details away from the move to the team that currently has Nigeria AFCON 2013 hero Sunday Mba and captain of the Nigeria U-23 team Azubuike Okechukwu on their payroll.

Managed by Marcelo Houseman, the former Warri Wolves forward will reportedly complete the move this week which will bring to three the number of teams he has played for the last three years since his move abroad.

He started his career abroad with Kelantan of Malaysia before his move to Israel last season.
