EVIAN-LES-BAINS, France -- Goalkeeper Alisson Becker said"I feel at home already" with Liverpool after he completed his first training session with his new club.
Alisson trained with the Liverpool squad for the first time on Tuesday at their five-day training camp in Evian, France.
The Brazil international, who joined from Roma in a £65 million deal earlier this month, was not present on the team's preseason tour of the United States, having been granted an extended break after featuring at the World Cup.
"It has been a great day which I had been looking forward to,"Alisson told Liverpool's official website on Tuesday.
"I've had a good few resting days with my family but we all couldn't wait to get the new season under way soon.
"It's only my first day and I feel at home already."
Alisson could make his first appearance for Liverpool in Dublin on Saturday as Liverpool take on Napoli in their penultimate friendly of the summer.
Jurgen Klopp's side then play Torino at Anfield on Aug. 7 ahead of their Premier League opener with West Ham United five days later.
"Although these two weeks don't seem like a long time, it's enough for us to be ready for our first game against West Ham," Alisson, 25, continued.
"We'll play two friendlies before this game and I'm sure the hard work the squad have put in so far is going to help me become a member of the squad as quickly as possible so that I am 100 percent ready for our first game to kick off the Premier League in a good way.
"This initial training session has been useful for me to see what our playing style should be in the Premier League.
"It's also showed me that the team are very well adapted to it and everyone seems to be physically fit, not to say technically -- they're all great players after all.
"I'm very happy to have them alongside me and to be a part of this project that Liverpool have and the great work they have been doing over recent years.
"I hope I can help and bring something extra to the team."
Meanwhile, Liverpool have confirmed that Ben Woodburn has joined Championship side Sheffield United on a season-long loan.
Woodburn, 18, is keen for regular first-team action this season after a frustrating 2017-18 campaign and drew interest from a number of other Championship clubs.
Blades boss Chris Wilder said: "Ben is a great signing for us, he is an exciting player with undoubted quality.
"He's been involved with Liverpool throughout their preseason and I'm delighted they've trusted us with one of their outstanding young prospects, who is a full international as a teenager.
"It's his first loan move and I'm sure it will be a great one for all parties. He makes goals and score goals with both feet, he can play in a couple of attacking positions and gives us flexibility at the top of the pitch."
One player who has not left Liverpool yet is Pedro Chirivella, who has turned down a move to Rosenborg in Norway, a source has told ESPN FC.
Liverpool and Rosenborg had agreed a deal worth £3.5 million, but the Spaniard has since decided to seek a move elsewhere.
