Allegri opts to take time out
Massimiliano Allegri has confirmed that he will take a year away from the game to recharge his batteries, having ended a five-year spell in charge of Juventus.
Allegri led Juve to five league titles during his tenure, as well as four Coppa Italia successes, while the Bianconeri also reached the Champions League final on two occasions.
I'll use this year to recharge my batteries ahead of the next season.

He had been linked with several top jobs after announcing his departure from Turin at the end of last season, but Allegri says he will instead wait for a season to decide on his next move.
He told reporters: "I am going to take a year off to recharge the batteries and take my personal life back in hand, rediscover after many years the affection of my family, children and friends.
"The last 16 years have felt like being in a blender. You have to take time away from what you usually spend with family and friends. I'll use this year to recharge my batteries ahead of the next season."
Current Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri is expected to be confirmed as the new man in charge of Juve in the near future, having won the Europa League during his first season in charge of the Premier League outfit.
The 60-year-old had previously guided Napoli to second place in three of his four seasons in charge at the San Paolo.
Juve, who have won eight consecutive Italian league titles, are 4/6 to make it nine next season, while they can be backed at 10/1 to triumph in the Champions League for the first time since 1996.
