NFF Technical Committee Member, Paul Bassey has suggested that the absence of Nigerian teams in major competitions come 2017 can be a blessing for the FA.

The Super Eagles, Flying Eagles and Eaglets will not play in their respective continental competitions and Bassey has told our sports desk, that the Federation could do a ” house cleansing ” after what had been a very complicated 2016.
