Ahead of the their FA Cup quarter final clash, Omolaoye Abiodun is confident of his Kogi United's ability to beat former NPFL champions, Kano Pillars.

 

The highly sort after midfielder is quiet upbeat of their chances to upset the applecart.

 

"My mood on the match against kano pillars coming up on Sunday is high, we guys are in high spirit to knock pillars out of the tournament and to proceed to semi final," he revealed.

 

Abiodun added that his team's aim to reach the final.

 

"My expectation ahead of this quarter final is to knock out kano pillars and proceed to the next level , finalist is the aim and I believe we going to reach there," he concluded.

 

The NNL side Kogi United had bundled out NPFL side and 2021 league champions Akwa United at the last 16 stage after a 2-1 win to move to the quarter-final.
