Aiteo Cup: Enyimba Edge Katsina, Plateau Pip NNL Side Atete

Enyimba beat Katsina United 1-0 in their Aiteo Federation Cup Group A fixture at the Pantami Stadium, Gombe on Wednesday.

The former Shooting Stars striker latched on to a long ball before sending a fierce strike into the roof of the net.

Katsina United fought hard to restore parity in the game but were thwarted by the brave goalkeeping of Ikechukwu Ezenwa.

Earlier in the same group, Plateau United beat Bet9ja Nigeria National League outfit, J Atete 3-1.

Reuben Bala, Ibeh Johnson and King Osanga got the goals for Plateau United, while Emmanuel Uangbaoje scored J Atete’s only goal of the game.
