Ahmadu Liman close to signing for Akwa United

As the 2022/2023 season is on the horizon, Akwa United are seeking to add more fresh legs to strengthen their squad.

They are on the verge of completing the signing of attacking midfielder Ahmadu Liman from Niger Tornadoes.

Reports say that the deal is almost done as personal terms have been agreed in principle.

The diminutive midfielder was sought out by Wikki Tourists and two other clubs but Akwa seemed to have won the race for his signature.

The former NPFL champions have reportedly resumed training ahead of the mew season and are looking their ninth place position of late season.
