Golden Eaglet defender Yahaya Lawali has emerged the Man of the Match for the second time despite their 1-0 loss to the late arrived Morocco team on Wednesday.

Lawali the formidable right-back stopper won the Man of the Match Award in their first game against Zambia which they won 1-0.

Despite the defeat to the Moroccan side he was adjudged the best player for his outstanding performance.

He was a constant threat with his overlapping runs from the defence.

Morocco have six points from two matches, while Nigeria are on three points.

The Golden Eaglets will face South Africa in their last group game on Saturday.
