AFCON Q: Eguaveon commends Super Eagles spirited effort against Benin Republic
Nigeria Super Eagles interim Coach, Austin Eguaveon has commended his players' never-say-die spirit to earn a point against the Cheetahs of Benin Republic on Thursday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The deputy African Cup of Nations champions came from behind to play a 1-1 draw against the Cheetahs in the African Cup of Nations Qualifiers match played at Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny.

Eguaveon who spoke after the game praised his boys' spirit to get the result at the end of the final whistle despite how tough the game was.
“It was a tough game and I congratulate the players for a spirited display in the second half that earned us the equalizer. The downpour made the game difficult for both teams, but I am happy we have the AFCON finals ticket in the bag”
The Super Eagles who have qualified for next year's tournament have a game more against Rwanda in Nigeria on Monday.
