Ivory Coast's forward, Sebastian Haller, asserts the Elephants' determination to retaliate their earlier loss to Nigeria during the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations group stage, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Despite their prior 1-0 defeat to the Super Eagles, Haller expresses Ivory Coast's resolute quest for revenge and clinching the trophy this time.

“We are playing the final against Nigeria. It is a great nation. It is heavy. They beat us in the group stage," Haller conveyed to BeIn SPORTS.

“But we are already motivated to go and lift the trophy on Sunday in this stadium in front of the Ivorian people. We have revenge to take on Nigeria."

The highly anticipated clash is scheduled to commence at 9 PM at Alhassan Quattara, Ebimpe, Abidjan on Sunday.
