Ghana winger Solomon Asante says Mubarak Wakaso made the difference in their game against Rwanda.

Wakaso scored a dramatic late winner to seal a victory over Rwanda away in Kigali.

The Amavubi gave a good account of themselves and worked extremely hard as a collective unit, which limited the Black Stars to half chances in major parts of the game.

But Asante says having a player like Wakaso is a plus to the team.

“I have been working with Wakaso for some time now and I know his quality,” Asante told GHANAsoccernet.com

“The game was a difficult one but his ability to decide games was clear for everyone to see, not only in the goal but throughout his play.”

Black Stars now sit at the summit of Group H with six points from two games and an impressive eight goals scored and just one conceded.
