Ghana winger Frank Acheampong has lauded his team’s insatiable appetite for hard work in the 3-0 win over Guinea on Sunday.

The Black Stars thumped the Syli National in Malabo to book a place in the semi finals of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Malabo.

A Kwesi Appiah strike and a brace from Christian Atsu wrapped up the win nicely for Avram Grant’s side which keeps growing in confidence since their opening day wobble.

Acheampong who made his Nations Cup debut as a second half substitute has hailed the Black Stars’ serious approach towards the game against the highly motivated Guinean side.

“In football every game is difficult, we took it very seriously,” he told MTNFootball.com.

“Maybe they didn’t take it the way we took it and every time the team was working very hard on the pitch.”

Ghana will now face hosts Equatorial Guinea in the semi final match on Thursday in Malabo.
