Ghana left Baba Rahman, says he is not getting carried away over talks of Ghana playing in the finals of the ongoing cup of nations.

The Black Stars recovered from a bumpy start in the competition where they lost to Senegal to qualify for the quarter final stage of the tournament in Equatorial Guinea.

Many including ex-skipper Stephen Appiah, has tipped the stars to go the long haul after recovering from their erratic start.

But Rahman says it’s important they take a game at a time.

“Let’s just take a game at a time and see where God will place us,” Rahman told Ghanasoccernet.com

“We have heard all the talks of us winning the cup but the important thing at the moment is the game against Guinea which should be a great one.”

Ghana will be aiming to reach their fifth consecutive semi-final place in the Africa cup of nations when they take on Guinea in Malabo this Sunday.

Good one there Baba! Just keep the focus and avoid distractions; and Ghana will make it. Gabon was able to beat Burkina Faso during the qualifiers and at AFCON proper. Ghana can do same with Guinea and even better. Forget thinking about the finals now and take matches one by one. Long live the Black Stars and long live Ghana.
