The Black Stars will be delighted to find out the training pitch at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations base in Equatorial Guinea is ready for use.

The organizers were able to provide one training pitch in Mongomo where all four teams including South Africa, Algeria and Senegal will train.

Last minute hosts Equatorial Guinea contracted Spain-based sports ground experts Ibergreen who have done a descent job so far.

The company imported a playing turf and having finished laying it the pitch looks green and ready for use.

The Santiago Nguema Eneme training also has new floodlights fixed.

This pitch is far better than any field in Ghana. Are you kidding me. Let the GFA show me any of our national stadiums that have anything better than this, and it took them few days to do that. SHAME ON YOU GFA

What kind of headline is this? AFCON 2015: Hurriedly – made pitch for for For Ghana in excellent shape. Why do you have to repeat "for" 3 times?

The football pitches in Ghana leave a lot to be desired.
