Guinea skipper Ibrahima Traoré has announced he will take a break from international football so as to concentrate on his club career.

The exciting forward decided to reconsider his future with the Syli National following their elimination from the 2015 AFCON with a 3-0 defeat to Ghana in the quarterfinals of the competition in Malabo.

“The time has come for me to reconsider my international career in order to focus on my club,”Traoré said after their elimination.

 Traore, who shone at the 2015 AFCON as reach the last-eight of Equatorial Guinea 2015, has over 30 caps for Guinea and has scored eight goals for his country.

The 26-year-old star, who was born in France, features for Borussia Monchengladbach in the German Bundesliga after several seasons with VfB Stuttgart.
