Ghana striker Kwesi Appiah wasted little time in opening his international account by scoring in Ghana’s 3-0 win over Portuguese second tier side Olhanense on Wednesday.
The Crystal Palace player grabbed the second goal of the game shortly after the interval before Christian Atsu had already shot the Black Stars ahead on the 20th minute mark.
In-form Lorient striker Jordan Ayew added the third to cap off a one sided affair.
Appiah is among four strikers named in Ghana’s provisional 26-man squad hoping to make it to the tournament.
