Ghana will play Portuguese second tier side Olhanense in a friendly match (today) Wednesday before Avram Grant names his squad final 23-man squad for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations hours later.

The Black Stars have lined-up the friendly as preparation continues for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Equatorial Guinea later this month.

The team is currently in Seville, Spain to fine-tune ahead of the tournament and will first play Portuguese side Olhanense on Wednesday before facing German side Freiburg next week.

The Ghana-Olhanense match will be played at the Algarve Stadium in Portugal with kick off time scheduled for 3:30 pm local time.

The Black Stars will travel across the border to play the game before Avram Grant names his squad for the tournament.

The players will be keen on play their hearts out to avoid being axed by coach Avram Grant.

It will be the first friendly game under new coach Avram Grant in preparation for Africa's flagship football event.

Ghana will play in Group C of the 2015 event alongside Senegal, South Africa and Algeria and will open its campaign against Senegal on January 19.
