Ghana coach Avram Grant says he is preparing his team for any situation in their quarter final clash against Guinea including taking of penalty kicks.

The Black Stars come up against the Syli National on Sunday having bounced back from a disastrous start to their campaign at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.

Ghana finished as winners of Group C despite losing their opening game against Senegal.

The team has since been growing in confidence and are tipped as slight favourites over Guinea to progress to the last four.

Ghana however have a poor record with penalty kicks at the African Cup of Nations finals.

But Grant says he is preparing his team in all areas to take on the sleek Guineans on Sunday.

“We need to prepare ourselves for everything, I don’t want to look to the past I have experience with penalties,” he said.

“We need to think about other possibilities.

“I say to the players all things that are not good so that we improve upon them."
