Ghana have been rocked with fears over alleged reports that hosts of the 30th edition of the African Cup of Nations have been performing black magic 'juju' ritual before their matches in Africa's flagship football competition.

The Black Stars take on the Nzalang Nationale in the semi-final on Thursday but reports that their previous games especially against Tunisia in the second quarter-final clash on Saturday at the Bata Stadium was besmirched with the practice of black magic have reached the Ghanaian fans who are trembling with fear.

A local man in the form of a black magician who had sneaked into the stadium (un)awares of the security personnel was reported to have conducted a burnt sacrifice on a section of the pitch which had to be patched up by the stewards.

'He was also at the pitch to bury chicken bones and other stuff before the match against Gabon, which they won 2-0 to qualify for the last-eight,’ a source at the stadium revealed.

Equatorial Guinea have never lost at the Estadio de Bata in the first two games they have played there.

They were up for a last minute loss to Congo Brazzaville in the first game, but they came back to end at 1-1, so they played against Burkina Faso in the venue.

They also were one goal down against the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia and late into the game they were looking losing before a 92 minute penalty well converted by Balboa pushed the game into Extra time.

First time Equatorial Guinea will make it past the last eight stage of the Nations Cup, they scored the second which ended the journey for Tunisia in the tournament.

 They had never played beyond the last eight, falling out againstCote D'Ivioire in 2012 when they co-hosted with Gabon.

    I always say dat dis mumbi or whatever guy is a fool and lack sense,we all know dat most footballers uses juju in order to perform well in a particular match but for hm to cite our national team as an example is a foolish comment dat comes out of dat cow dung tin he calls mouth,ve u forget wat u zambias did b4 u won da afcon 2012,da juju and da ritual u perform to call all ur past dead players,ve u forgotten dat mumbi pls come agn cos wat ever u say does not make sense.let equitoral guinea do whatever they wanted to do i even understands they normally uses their juju on da referees to award dem very dubious decisions,come what may they shall fall.i dnt think EQ fA r more mafia than kwesi nyantakyi who i understands knows much of this tins better than dey do.lets cross our fingers and wait till dat faithful thursday.Gh one nation,one people and with God all tins r possible.

    Juju practise in football is rampant among ghanaian players, more than any other african country. 1. in 2012 Cloud Re loy complained about the massive use of juju among ghanaians which also was undermining fellow players perfomance in fighting for places in starting line up. Reloy was fired for exposing ghana by GFA.
