Hisor: Tajikistan scored three penalties to remain firmly in the qualification picture of the 2019 AFC Asian Cup qualifying Group F as goals from Nuriddin Davronov, Parviz Umarboev and Manuchekhr Dzhalilov secured a 3-0 win over Nepal on Tuesday.

Davronov opened the scoring from the spot after 21 minutes at Hisor Central Stadium before Umarboev followed suit on the hour mark.

And with Dzhalilov adding a third with two minutes remaining, Tajikistan claimed a second win in four games to improve to six points with two games remaining on the road to the 24-team tournament in the United Arab Emirates.

After a quiet start to the contest following Tajikistan’s 2-1 win in Kathmandu last month, a handball from Akhtam Nazarov’s pass allowed Davronov the chance to open the scoring from the penalty spot after 21 minutes.

Tajikistan improved as the contest progressed and added a second from 12 yards after 60 minutes as Umarboev this time made no mistake after Dzhalilov had been upended by Nepal’s Ananta Tamang.

And with two minutes remaining Dzhalilov sealed Tajikistan’s second consecutive win following two opening defeats after Iskander Dzhalilov had been fouled by Aditya Chaudhary.
