Nigeria Super Eagles forward, Ademola Lookman could not save Atalanta BC from losing to Como in the Italian Serie A despite scoring, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Lookman scored the second goal, but it was too late as Atalanta lost 2-3 at the Gewiss Stadium on Tuesday.

Davide Zappacosta had given the hosts the lead in the 18th minute as the first half ended 1-0.

However, Como rallied back to equal score in the first minute of the second half through Gabriel Strefezza.

The second goal came in the 54th minute after an own goal by Sead Kolašinac before Gambian Alieu Fadera doubled the lead margin to two four minutes later.

Atalanta BC pushed to get something out of the game as they got a late penalty after additional time. 56-minute substitute Lookman stepped up and scored, but it was already late as it ended 1-3.

With the result, Como has their first Seria A win to be in the 15th position while Atalanta BC is in 12th place on the log after five matches.
