Ademola Lookman, a former Everton player now with Atalanta, emphasizes his preference for the English football style over that of Italy, where he currently plies his trade, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Born in England, Lookman, boast experience from the English Premier League with clubs such as Everton, Fulham, and Leicester City.

Despite a stint in Germany with RB Leipzig, Lookman cites the fast-paced, technical, and physical nature of the Premier League as better suited to his playing style.

In an interview with The Athletic, Lookman reflects on the allure of Italian football culture, noting its special atmosphere and fervent fanbase.

The Premier League is definitely suited to my style because it’s fast, technical, physical — and it’s the country I grew up in,” Lookman said.

“But learning about the culture of football in Italy is really special. The build-up to the games, the atmosphere in the stadium, and the love that the fans have for football. It’s very special.”

Despite his admiration for the Italian game, Lookman's impact on the pitch for Atalanta has been significant, having emerged as their top scorer last season with 13 goals.

His current form remains impressive, having already netted eight goals for La Dea in the ongoing campaign.
