Nigeria goalkeeper Adebayo Adeleye has expressed his excitement over his transfer to Cypriot club Enosis Neon Paralimi, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The shot stopper last week signed a three-year contract with the Cypriot Second Division side.

Adeleye, 24, spent four years at Israeli outfit Hapoel Jerusalem, making 102 league appearances before parting ways with the club.

He thanked Hapoel Jerusalem for their support, saying: "Thanks for encouraging me to keep striving for the best. You'll forever remain in my heart." Adeleye is eager to make a positive impact at his new club.

He also expressed gratitude for the opportunity to join Paralimi, stating: "I'm grateful for this opportunity, and I believe so much in the team. I'm looking forward to a remarkable season."
