Remo Stars leaped back to the top of the Nigeria Premier Football League after edging it against Bayelsa United on Saturday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

A goal from Olamilekan Adams in the 70th minute mark was enough for the Sky Blue Stars to do the double [ home and away wins ] over the Prosperity Boys.

The hosts as expected dominated proceeding, but it was the visitors who tested waters pulling a save from Bankole on 20 minutes.

Remo Stars continued the dominance, but failed to make it count in the half as the first half ended goalless.

In the second half, the team from Ikenne controlled proceedings pushing for the opener until the 70th minute.

Olamilekan almost doubled the lead on 88 minute, but his effort was cleared off the line as the hosts stayed focus to get all points at the final whistle.
