Adams nearing return from injury, says Sevilla Boss

Sevilla manager Garcia Pimienta has revealed that Nigerian forward Jerome Adams is closing in on a return from injury, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Adams suffered a calf injury in training last month and was initially expected to be sidelined for up to seven weeks.

However, Pimienta says the 25-year-old is making good progress in his recovery and could be back in action soon.

"He has done some work with the rehabilitation therapist," Pimienta told the club's official website.

"He has to undergo tests to see if he can be back next week."

Adams has made just one league appearance for Sevilla since joining from Montpellier in January.
