AC Milan is fighting to secure a long-awaited spot in next season's UEFA Champions League, and will have to face its two final opponents in Serie A without Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The club officially announced that the swedish striker, 39, will go through a conservative treatment to the left knee he injured during the match against Juventus. 

The treatment should last up to six weeks, putting at risk Ibrahimovic presence for Sweden at Euro 2021 next month.

AC Milan is currently in third place in the Serie A table, with the top-four teams securing a spot for UCL, and will face Cagliari at home tomorrow, and Atalanta in Bergamo next week.
