Abia Warriors' Oji delighted to reach first major final

Bethel Oji, head coach of Abia Warriors, has expressed his joy at reaching his maiden major final as a coach, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Orji side will face El-Kanemi Warriors in the President Federation Cup final on Saturday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena Stadium.

The Umuahia side defeated on penalties former champions, Kano Pillars in the semi-final.

Oji's ambition is to clinch the trophy, which would be Abia Warriors' first major title.

"I'm very happy to be in the final of a major tournament as a coach," he told the club's media.

"My joy will be fulfilled if we win the trophy as a team."
