Abia Comets goes on Christmas break as management warn players to desist from football competition during the holiday

Nigeria National League side, Abia Comets Football Club of Umuahia have embarked on a three-day Christmas break, Nigeriasoccernet.com can confirm.

A statement by the club management said that players are expected to return to camp on 27th December, 2023 while training activities resume on the 28th of December, 2023.

The management equally warned players of the club to desist from engaging in any football competition during the Christmas to avoid sustaining injuries that may have a negative impact on the team.

Meanwhile, the management of Abia Comets, technical crew and players wishes Abians and their numerous supporters and fans elsewhere a pleasant Christmas and New Year celebrations.
