Nigeria Special Eagles ended the Amputee African Cup of Nations, AAFCON in fourth place position after losing to Algeria in the third place match, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Nigeria lost 3-1 to Algeria Katameya Petrosport Stadium, Cairo on Monday in the first edition of the international competition of amputee football national men's teams in Africa.

The Amputee Eagles we're seeking to finishing on a high after missing out on the final berth following a 6-2 loss to Morocco on Saturday in the semi finals.

The Nigerian team who qualified to the semi final after securing a goalless draw against hosts Egypt and a 11-0 win over Burudi will take solace in getting the world cup ticket.
