Stop barking orders, let the NFF do its job and help create the enabling environment to get sponsors and help Nigeria football. That was the note NFF Technical Committee Chairman, Christopher Green sounded to the Minister of Sports Solomon Dalung over the long awaited appointment of a Coach for the Super Eagles

The search for a substantive Coach for the Men’s senior national team has drawn a bitter and rumored divisive battle in the ‘Glass house’ and the Sport Minister delving into it has put further pressure on the FA over the nationality of the next appointment.

Green told footballlive.ng that over 20 candidates had applied for the Eagles job and assured that a shortlisting process will commence soon. However it shouldn’t be the Minister’s job to instruct the FA on how to do its job Green opined rather he should help create an enabling atmosphere for the Federation to operate.
