Algerian defender Mehdi Zeffane is a major doubt for Friday’s Africa Cup of Nations clash against Ghana.

The Lyon right-back could not complete Tuesday’s training session after only a few touches due to an injury.

The French-born man is now almost set to miss the crunch tie against the Black Stars at the municipal stadium in Mongomo.

The Algerian are in buoyant mood after a decisive 3-1 win over South Africa in their opener on Monday night.

They come up against a wounded Ghanaian side who lost the plot against Senegal after going down 2-1.
