Highly rated Hearts of Oak striker Kenneth Okoro says he is delighted to have scored his debut goal for the club and is bent on continuing his development in the rainbow colors.
The 20-year-old youngster grabbed his debut goal for the club in what was a leveler in their 2-1 defeat at the hands of New Edubaise over the weekend.
Okoro profited from a rebound from a long rage effort from Sabahn Laryea to pull his side level on the on the day.
Latif Analiba eventually got the winner for Edubiase but Okoro who admits being unable to celebrate his goal due to the loss says he is looking forward to continuing his development with the Phobians.
“Everybody needs an opportunity to do well and that includes me. I have had challenges with injuries and all that but I am remaining focused and working hard to improve,” Okoro said
‘”I am at the best club in Ghana and I am looking to taking every opportunity given me to improve.
“Hearts is the best club in Ghana and so it’s never going to be easy.”
The Phobians will be looking to bounce back from their defeat at the hands of Edubiase when they take on Kotoko on Sunday.
