WOLVERHAMPTON willing to fetch Ivorian KOUAME

In spite of a very underwhelming seasonal performance, Ivorian international forward Christian Kouamé, who turned 23 on December 6, is growing into a major target for Wolverhampton, whose management are apparently seeing undisclosed potential in his game. Signed by Fiorentina in late January 2020, when he was still recovering from a long-term injury, former Genoa hitman, so far, didn't manage to keep up with the expectations Viola were relying on him. Therefore, if the proper bid kicks in, Gigliati might end up letting him loose.
Currently on a deal with Florence-based club until June 2024, Inter Milan and Sassuolo alumni, viable either as a striker, a second striker, and a winger/wide forward, Kouamé was purchased by Fiorentina on an overall 12 million euros transfer fee, and, according to Transfermarkt.de, is roughly worth the same sum right now. Previously tracked by more clubs, including Lazio and Torino, Kouamé is moreover equipped with a dual Italian citizenship, and, so far, scored a big total of 12 goals all across his three Serie A seasons.
