The Super Eagles of Nigeria will be without their Vice Captain, William Troost Ekong when they battle the Desert foxes of Algeria at Oran but they'll certainly be with his best wishes.

The Watford defender who picked up an injury in last Friday's 2-2 draw against Algeria Team B at the Mohamed Hamlaoui Stadium in Constantine wished the Super Eagles the best against the North Africans.

Ekong said on Sunday: "Unfortunately I picked up something in our game against Algeria last Friday. Back home now to sort it out. All the best to the boys on Tuesday ?? ?."

The warm-up game between the two AFCON champions comes up on September 27, and It's billed for the 40,000-capacity Miloud Hadefi Stadium in Oran.
