Zambia U-17 coach, Ian Bakala has sounded a note of warning to the Nigeria Golden Eaglets ahead of their big tie at the Africa U-17 Championship today that his team is “here on a mission,” Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Zambia are in group B alongside Nigeria, Morocco am South Africa.

Despite being the champion of the south zone, Zambia have only qualified for the U-17 AFCON once and didn’t make it beyond the group stage on that occasion.

But despite Bakala admit to the underdog state of the team, the tactician was quick to reveal how ready his team is.

“History has to be broken. This is the time to take Zambia up and make our name stronger,” Bakala was quoted by CAFonline.

” We are here on a mission and the mission has to be complete. We might be the underdogs but we will show that we can also compete.”

Sunday’s (today) encounter is slated for the Stade Mohamed Hamlaoui, Constantine. Kick-off is 5pm Nigerian time.
