Nigeria international Oghenekaro Etebo jetted out of the country through the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos on Saturday night to join his new European team Clube Desportivo Feirense.

The Dream Team VI star had agreed terms with the Portuguese setup since January but was held back in Nigeria until now due to visa issues plus Warri Wolves were playing spoilsport after claiming that the midfielder still has a valid contract with the club.

After Fifa sent Etebo’s International Transfer Certificate to the Portuguese Federation, the Portuguese embassy finally issued a visa to him.

The 20-year-old is in tip-top condition and may likely make his competitive debut for CD Feirense on Wednesday when they host Varzim in the Segunda Liga.

Oghenekaro Etebo’s contract with CD Feirense is designed for two and a half years.
