Victor Boniface continued his scoring spree in the German Bundesliga as he came off the bench to score in Bayern Leverkusen's win over VFL Bochum on Wednesday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Super Eagles striker scored the third goal following an hat-trick from Patrik Schick as the league leaders continued their fine start to the season with their 13th win in 16 matches after winning 4-0.

Schick drilled in a penalty on the half-hour mark and then slotted in his second goal of the evening in the 32nd after a low cross into the box from Jeremie Frimpong.

The 27-year-old Czech forward completed his hat trick in stoppage time heading in an Alejandro Grimaldo corner.

They added a fourth with substitute Victor Boniface in the 69th after a through ball from the middle of the field was slot in by the Nigerian who scored his 10th league goal and 17 goals in all competition this season.

The win leaves Bayern Leverkusen 4 points ahead of defending champions, Bayern Munich as the league go on a break till next year.
