Victor Boniface has named four teams he believes are set to be contenders at the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), Nigeriasoccernet.com gathered.

In a recent interview with the Football Fans Tribe, Boniface highlighted Ivory Coast, Morocco, Mali, and Senegal as the teams to watch in next year's tournament.

Boniface, who came on as a second-half substitute in Nigeria's 1-1 draw with Benin Republic last Thursday, emphasized the strength and competitiveness of these nations.

"There’s a lot of good teams. Morocco, Ivory Coast, Senegal, and Mali," Boniface said. "When it comes to African football, you cannot underestimate any team. Everyone is good, so we’re looking forward to it."

The upcoming AFCON will be hosted by Morocco, while Ivory Coast enters the tournament as the reigning champions. As Boniface suggests, with the rise of teams like Senegal and Mali, the competition is expected to be fierce and unpredictable.

With all these teams having shown strong performances in recent international competitions, their presence in the tournament will undoubtedly add to the excitement.

As the tournament draws closer, football fans can expect an exhilarating contest with these teams vying for the prestigious title.
