The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has announced that eight fixtures for matchday 37 have been rescheduled, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Matches except Sporting Lagos and Enyimba, as well as Bayelsa United and Shooting Stars will now take place on Saturday, June 15, instead of the originally planned date of Sunday, June 16.

The unaffected matches will proceed as initially scheduled.

Fans can look forward to watching the matches live, with the league organizers ensuring that the necessary arrangements are in place for a smooth broadcast.

Although the reason for the date change has not been disclosed, the adjustments aim to ensure the smooth progression of the season.

The upcoming fixtures are crucial in determining the champion of the 2024 NPFL season, with Rangers, Enyimba, and Remo Stars currently leading the race for the title.
