Umar, others will not leave below asking price - Almeria owner
Almeria owner Turki Alalshikh has stated categorically that no player of his club will leave lower then the demands of the club, Nigeriasoccernet.com gathered.
Sadiq Umar is among Almeria players who been in the eye of top European clubs following his wonderful performance last season.
The 25-year-old found the net 39 times in 76 La Liga 2 appearances, also registering 19 assists in the process.
However, Umar has seen his move from the newly promoted side to his major suitors Villarreal left in limbo as the latter felt his asking price was high.
Almeria's club president Turki Alalshik has now made it clear that no major player of the club will leave for cheap.
“We will not sell any player for a lower price than we deem reasonable!!,” the Almeria owner tweeted.
Sadiq has started his season with a goal after scoring in his team's one all draw against Elche.
