Super Eagles Captain, Ahmed Musa is elated about the qualification of the Nigerian U-20 national team to the semi finals of the African Cup of Nations and securing World Cup ticket, Nigeriasoccernet.com had gathered.

The Saudi Arabia based player has congratulated the Junior Eagles for achieving the feat in Ismaila, Egypt on Thursday.

Ladan Bosso boys got an hard fought win against the Hippos of Uganda winning by a goal to nil courtesy of an own goal by Ibrahim Juma in the 30th minute.

The win which has secured the Nigerian team a place in Indonesia 2023 from May to June has made Musa happy and has urged the players to remain focus while speaking to JoanSportsbliss.

"Before their first game, I had a chat with them via phone call. I advised them to remain focus and be good ambassadors to their families and the country at large.

I am glad that they have achieve one of the most important thing which is qualifying for the World Cup in Indonesia. Now they should go ahead and win the trophy at stake and make us proud," He stated.
