TRANSFERS - Tottenham interested in Brighton's Lamptey

In a new report by Sky Sports UK, it seems Tottenham are eyeing Brighton's Tariq Lamptey as an option to bring new vigor to the right-back position, as both Serge Aurier and Matt Doherty had underwhelming campaigns this past season.
The 20-year-old Lamptey only appeared in 11 contests for Brighton, and was mired by injury problems since December; however, this does not seem to worry new sporting director Fabio Paratici, and Spurs seem high on Lamptey's talent that could fix a nagging problem in the squad. Early last season, Ashley Cole described the youngster as "dangerous", and the people at White Hart Lane seem to agree with the England international. The right back has reportedly garnered interest from Arsenal as well; where he will play next season remains to be seen.
