Filippo Ranocchia, who joined Turin from Perugia in 2019, has risen through the ranks and even excelled during the club's pre-season friendly, particularly with his stunning goal against Monza in the Trofeo Berlusconi.
The youngster's name emerged on the cards during the continuing discussions between the Bianconeri and Sassuolo for Manuel Locatelli's move.
According to Calciomercato, Juventus declined to sell the 20-year-old because he is seen as a promising future possibility.
Due to the injuries to Adrien Rabiot and Arthur Melo, as well as the suspension of Weston McKennie, Ranocchia is set to start the Old Lady's first Serie A encounter of the season against Udinese on Sunday.
The Italian is likely to make a transfer before the end of the month in order to earn some valuable playing time, with Vicenza appearing to be a viable option.
