Transfer: AS Roma putting in for Babajide
AS Roma Ladies are reportedly interested in signing Super Falcons forward Omorinsola Babajide, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The 28-year-old striker, who left Spanish Liga F club UD Tenerife in May after her contract expired, is seeking a new challenge.
Babajide had a productive spell at Tenerife, scoring 10 goals and providing five assists in 26 league appearances.
Currently on international duty with Nigeria at the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations, Babajide has already made an impact, scoring one goal and providing an assist in two appearances.
With experience playing for several English clubs, including Crystal Palace, Liverpool, and Brighton & Hove Albion, Babajide's versatility and goal-scoring ability make her an attractive prospect for AS Roma Ladies.
