Torunarigha leaves Gent after an uneventful season

KAA Gent have confirmed that Nigerian defender Jordan Torunarigha will leave the club when his contract expires at the end of next month, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The 27-year-old centre-back has decided to embark on a new chapter in his career after making 145 appearances for the Buffaloes across all competitions.
Torunarigha joined Gent from Hertha Berlin in 2022 and won the Belgian Cup in his first season with the club.
During his time with Gent, he also earned his first caps for the Nigerian national team.
With his contract set to expire, Torunarigha's future is expected to take him elsewhere, with reports suggesting a potential return to Germany.
