TMW - Greek flank runner LYKOGIANNIS up for Cagliari extension
A key factor in Cagliari avoiding relegation, and kicking it for the club's sixth top tier season in a row, Greek international left-back Charalampos Lykogiannis (27), according to latest TMW rumours, is up for a deal renewal, pushing the contract deadline onward to June 2023.
Playing for Italian club since 2017/18 second half, former Olympiakos, Sturm Graz, Ergotelis and Levadiakos runner, is therefore meant for his Sardinia tenure to be furthered on. Viable also as a centre-back, a wingback, and a wide midfielder, Lykogiannis, who collected 6 caps for Greek full-side national team so far, was previously linked to Sassuolo, but is so far ought to stay put.
