First pre-match conference of the season for coach Thiago Motta, who from the "Capellazzi" room of the "Bruno Ferdeghini" sports center, took stock of the team's situation in view of the challenge against Pordenone: "It hasn’t been an easy month, but now we have to think about the competition and the future, so our focus must be only on Pordenone.
The boys who were already part of this group have shown to be very helpful and perceptive, as it was also for the newcomers. From tomorrow we can start to see what we will be able to do.
The market is open, some players will arrive, others will leave, but we have to stay focused on our training. The striker? It's clear that the first thing a central striker has to do is score goals, but he must also be able to sacrifice himself in the defensive and construction phases.
The problems we've had in the last period should not be an alibi, we know we'll be facing a tough opponent and we'll have to try to do our best.
The playing system? What matters is how we occupy spaces, the respect of the indications, the attention and how we work day after day.
The new players? They're doing well and we'll see how we can use them.
The owners are very close to the team and so is everyone who is part of this club: this allows us to work at our best and to overcome any difficulty with our heads held high".
