Swansea playmaker Andre Ayew was given the 'Moment of the Match' recognition for turning the clash against Chelsea in favour of the visiting side as the English Premier League started on Saturday.

The Ghana international's patience under pressure that helped Swansea to get the first equaliser looks to have stolen the attention of many.

The Independent newspaper in the UK has voted Ayew's effort when his side was 1-0 down as the moment that changed the game , helping the Swans to the 2-2 draw.

This was always going to be a difficult opener for Chelsea and so it proved. The hosts started well enough but were unable to cope with Swansea's increased intensity, leading to desperation on and off the pitch. Mourinho simply sat back and laughed as things went against his side.
