Holidaying Super Falcons and Paris FC goalkeeper, Chiamaka Cynthia Nnadozie has graciously gifted her state's women team, Heartland Queens FC 15 pieces of high quality jerseys in an uncommon support to the Owerri landladies campaign in the upcoming 2021/2022 NWFL Championship in Ijebu Ode, Ogun state from June 13 - 19.

The former Nigerian junior international and Rivers Angels safest hands was dutifully present on Thursday in Owerri when Heartland Queens outscored sister side and challengers, Imo Angels FC 2-0 in the final of 2022 Imo State FA (Aiteo) Cup.

The amiable Nigerian goalie and ardent fan of the state mainstream women side has always made it a point of duty to watch the side's daily training sessions at their home ground, Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri.

Nnadozie who was warmly received and appreciated by the state Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Dan Chike Ogu said the gesture is her own little way of supporting the team's quest for a quick comeback to the elite league at the upcoming NWFL Championship in Ijebu Ode.

Heartland Queens are due to campaign in the 2021/2022 NWFL Championship in Ijebu Ode with 10 other teams jostling for the two prime promotion tickets to the elite league at the end of the seven-day football showpiece.
